Columbus Water & Light has several convenient methods to pay your utility bill.
Pay In Person
Columbus Water & Light customers can make payments in person at the utility office, located at 950 Maple Avenue during normal business hours Monday-Thursday 7:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. and Friday 7:00 a.m. to 4:00 p.m. Payments can also be paid in person at City Hall, 105 N. Dickason Blvd. Their hours are 8:00 a.m. to 4:30 p.m. daily.
Pay By Mail
Please use the convenient envelopes that accompany each month’s utility bill. Or if you’d like, enclose payment with your own stamped envelope and mail to the utility at the address provided at the top of the bill.
If you choose to pay by mail, please send check or money order only. Do not send cash. When paying by mail, be sure to include the top portion of the bill with your payment.
Pay at Other Locations
As an additional convenience, Columbus Water & Light has two drop boxes located around the community for payments. A box is located across the street from the Post Office at 211 S. Dickason Blvd. Please make sure you select the Columbus Water & Light drop box. City Hall also has a drop box available on the door of their main entrance at 105 N. Dickason Blvd. Postage is not necessary when using the drop boxes. Credit Card
We accept payment through the following credit cards: American Express, Discover, MasterCard and VISA. Official Payments Corporation is the company we go through to process credit cards. Either call 1-800-272-9829 or visit Official Payments Corp. to make a payment. Use Jurisdiction Code 5852 when requested. There will be a convenience fee of $4.95 charged for this service. Payments can also be made by automatic withdrawal from your checking or savings account. The automatic payment plan will help you in several ways:
