Local Utility Helps Horsin’ Around Begin Stage 2 (6/18/08)

Columbus Water & Light recently donated $500 to help with the expansion of the Horsin’ Around playground equipment in Fireman’s Park. The donation was made possible by a Community Involvement grant from the utility’s power supplier, WPPI. “Our utility is focused on making Columbus a better place to live,” says Heidi Poser, Secretary of the Columbus Water & Light Commission. “As a community-owned utility, we are glad to provide funds to create a safe and healthy place for kids to play.”
