 LOBBY CLOSED-Due to concerns caused by the outbreak of the COVID-19 virus, the utility is restricting public access to the utility office to only essential utility matters in order to try to help protect the critical employees that operate the electrci and water systems. Heating & Cooling Improvements

Contractor working on HVAC systemAs much as half of the energy used in your home goes to space and water heating. Making smart decisions about your home’s heating, ventilation and air conditioning systems can make a big impact on your utility bills and your comfort.

Focus on Energy’s Heating & Cooling Improvements Program offers incentives to customers for the replacement of furnaces, boilers and air conditioners with high-efficiency equipment.

Bonus Incentive

Residential customers who receive a Focus on Energy rebate for either an efficient furnace fan or an efficient AC unit (natural gas burner/boiler upgrades are not included) are elgiible to receive a matching incentive from Columbus Water & Light. No forms are required. An incentive check will automatically be mailed once we are notified of the Focus on Energy rebate.
